SERENA VIVIAN-NEAL
She is accepting an increasing number of commissions; these
include book illustrations and maps in pen and ink, murals,
as well as watercolours, pastels, and oils portraying a wide
range of subjects which capture her imagination - portraits
and landscapes, animals, houses, gardens, and also interiors.
She has found a niche market in the design and execution of
bespoke wedding and event invitations, as well as maps for
celebrations, internationally. Serena is honoured to be an
Associated Artist with Mount Street Printers, Mayfair.
Serena graduated from Camberwell School of
Art, with a degree in History of Art, painting
and sculpture, followed by a four year
apprenticeship in gilding and restoration with
F. A. Pollak in St James’s Street, London.
Subsequently, she set up her own business
making bespoke gilt frames for major private
picture collections worldwide, in parallel to
her life as a painter.
Serena has exhibited her work at Bonhams, Knightsbridge;
the Mall Galleries; galleries in Carlos Place, Motcombe Street,
and Walton Street, London; Edinburgh, and the Jockey Club,
Hong Kong.
Through her work, Serena has raised funds for a number of
charities, including: The Royal Hospital Chelsea, The Guards
Chapel, Cancer Research, First Auxiliary Nursing Yeomanry,
Kabwadu Farming Project (Zambia), Help for Heroes, and
Oxfam.
